The Writer's Salon is a New York City-based production company founded in 2026, dedicated to championing emerging playwrights and fostering a vibrant, intergenerational theater community.
Founded by actors and producers Lena Pepe and Sam Besca, we bring together playwrights, directors, actors, and theatermakers of all generations to create new work and forge lasting artistic relationships.
Through theatrical productions and intimate gatherings, we create space for experimentation, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas.
We believe in artistic rigor, radical generosity, and the joy of making things together. Above all, we believe that great theater begins with great community.
